If you’re a fan of berries, I’m sure you’ve heard a thing or two about the acai berry and all it has to offer. I’ve yet to find it in any of the local markets near me, but I felt the need to post about why I’d love to have it be a part of my healthy eating. I can’t see this not tasting good because I’ve had the naturally-made drink version, without any added flavors or sugars, and I couldn’t keep the can down; it was literally gone in one sip and I didn’t even think of coming up for a single breath. The unique berry flavor had me wanting to try out the acai berry in its natural form, as soon as humanely possible; until that day comes around, I’m content settling for the tasty drink alternative.
The other thing that I’ve found quite comical about the acai berry, and I’m sure you have as well, is the different interpretations on how to pronounce it properly. The way I’ve been saying it is something along the lines of Ah-Key, and I’ve known for a while that I’m most likely dead wrong with my attempt. Another name I continue to hear, and I’m thinking this is the proper way of saying it, is something like, Ah-sigh. For some strange reason, I always settle for the former, but I must say, I’m trying to change that lol, because it took me a lifetime to say Quinoa the correct way)
